What is the Google Sandbox?
There has been many talking about the Google Sandbox in the last few months. I thought I would try to explain what the sandbox is. Many have notice new sites are not showing up in the Google search engine listings for months. It doesn't mean Google doesn't know about your site.
Many of the sites have been indexed, they just are not in good spots in the listings. They say this usually last about 3 months.
From what I have seen with new sites, this is true. It doesn't mean you won't ever seen your site up there, it just means it takes a little more time.
Spend the 3 months getting quality links into your site and reap the rewards when your time is up and your new site comes up for the keywords you are targeting. :)

Do you think this is why the site we were talking about the other day has yet to be ranked?
That site doesn't seem to get crawled. So no, that is something different.
