Starting Daily Blogs - Converting Traffic
Today I decided that I would start making daily blogs.
I have had a few people approach me that had top spots on search engines, but they weren't making any sales off them.
When you have a top spot or your buying PPC spots and your not converting the traffic, you should look at the landing page and the keywords.
The landing page should make it extremely easy for the surfer to buy the product or service. Focus on what you are offering them, and allow them to purchase immediately. Include a phone number or even better an 800#. Also include a form they can print and send in the order to you. Many people are still concerned about using a credit card online, but they are willing to print out a form and send it in.
Keywords, if your keywords don't really match what you are offering your conversion will be less. If your on top for free video games, and your making them $1, it isn't totally free. Many won't buy. Focus on keywords that are relevant to what you are offering. Top spots for the name of the product are going to convert better then a general term.

Why doesn't it say 3 comments after your name on the index page?
Now it does. Not sure why it didn't.
If you add an 800#, should it be one that goes to your business, or just add one so people think you have one?
Well I wouldn't recommend putting up a fake number. It won't really get you more sales :P
So yes it should be an 800# that goes to your business.
